Hanging, homesteading and hiking

LOVE old motel signs, originally uploaded by B_Zedan. There has been a lot of hanging out and driving around and tromping the past couple of days. We went to some awesome shale slide ice cave things today. Pictures soon. Coming up is the time that I’ll for sure be away from the computer (and even the little time I’ve squeezed in has left me with a hella GReader and LJ backlog, ouch). We’ll be going to Thermopolis and the Garden of Eden in Idaho. Fun times. I can’t believe people…

This is awesome

Wyoming God-Light, originally uploaded by B_Zedan. So, we spent our first full day (as opposed to an evening being staggeringly tired after being on the road 24 hours) in Buffalo yesterday and I got to experience what Chase refers to as “wind”, as apparently what we get in the Tri-Met area is a “breeze”. Though we’re going to be shooting mainly film on this trip (NERDS), I am taking my little digital…

Chase contends that I-5 is the most boring ever

We drove down to Lebanon on Saturday to visit my mom and sister. I spent eighteen years of my life there and pretty much didn’t look back after I left. But you spend that much time in a place, even in the boonies outside it, it’s part of you. There is so much missing, like middle school all the city kids had to attend, that was flanked by portables for most of my childhood and was condemned some time after I left.  It’s strange. And I left my mark, more…
