C.O.P.S. Class notes: Audience as wind-up monkey 07/23/11

There was a lot of info last class and that is at least 50% why I’m so behind on notes. 25% is that I had a hell of a time with formatting on this batch, from Open Office to WordPress. Ugh. Anyway, the class on the 30th was crit and performance, which I took notes at, but they’re not really useful beyond remembering people’s work. I’m taking classes at the Conceptual Oregon Performance School this summer and I’m a huge nerd. Here are my notes from class, links that are…

C.O.P.S. class notes: Hello/Goodbye 07/17/11

I’m taking classes at the Conceptual Oregon Performance School this summer and I’m a huge nerd. Here are my notes from class and related links. Focus Month: the craft room

Eek! Kind of far into the month do declare July’s focus, but it’s a (kind of) light one and something that needs to happen. So here goes. One of the beautiful parts of our apartment is the finished attic space that we’re using as studio area. Problem is, my half has been getting things dumped in it (by me) and has become kind of a super mess. So July is all about increasing the usability of that space. I’d like to do a sewing focus month soon, but I can’t…

Birthday

It’s this person’s birthday today. I’ve spent the entirety of my twenties with Chase and he only gets creepier and more hilarious as time goes on. I’m always in awe of what he can capture with a camera and the insane amount of information he’s amassed about his trade.  I was going to link to this ridiculous video he made but he keeps updating his portfolio site and I can’t find anything on it. I wish he didn’t have to drive so far for work—making the same commute I did…
